If you are aiming for 4K performance without draining your bank account, the GeForce RTX 2070 Super is the best graphics card option. The price is $499.99, but enter coupon code EMCDEGR43 at checkout to get $20 off the price. The only way to find one for less is to try your luck with an open box model or look for a used model on places like eBay or Craigslist. These are new.

Keep in mind that more demanding games will require more power than the 2070 Super offers to maintain 60 fps or more at 4K Ultra settings. However, Jarred's review of the 2070 Super averaged 50 fps across 11 different games. This is certainly respectable.

The 2070 Super's reference configuration has a base clock of 1,605 MHz and a boost clock of 1,770 MHz; Gigabyte has boosted the boost clock for this model to 1,785 MHz with a three-fan cooling solution. This is a fairly modest clock increase, but if you can take matters into your own hands, you can probably get a bit more overclocking performance out of it (of course, the range of use will vary from person to person).

While I have not specifically tested this card, I generally find Gigabyte's Windforce coolers to have an excellent balance between temperature control and noise.
