The Lord of the Rings and D&D Online DLC available to all through April 30
After a total of 27 years of updates and expansions for [Lord of the Rings Online] and [Dungeons & Dragons Online], now is the perfect time to play the big MMO. Starting today, all expansions and DLC are now available for everyone to play.

Originally developed by Turbine and now operated by Standing Stone Games,

the game has been in development for several years.

Although the game moved to a free-to-play model a few years ago, some additions, or expansion packs, still cost money. However, from now until the end of April, Standing Stone Games is offering all access to all players for free. There will also be events throughout the month, including Baggins' birthday event at LotRO and an anniversary event at DDO.

I remember very little about DDO, except that I greatly enjoyed the DM adding narration during dungeon exploration, but I can definitely recommend LotRO. It's a great Lord of the Rings game, and I still have a lot of fun exploring it. Thankfully, you don't have to pick just one of them.
