Valve has released a little guide to Half-Life: Alyx's unique spectator mode is a way to turn the game's VR output into something understandable to those watching on a regular screen. How to use spectator mode" To turn on spectator mode in Half-Life: To turn on spectator mode in Alyx, open Settings > Spectator from the game menu.
