This is the first look at "Stalker 2".

More than 10 years have passed since GSC Gameworld released "Stalker: Call of Pripyat" and almost as much time has passed since "Stalker 2" was first released and immediately put on hold. However, last year, the studio released a new film, "Stalker 2. Last year, however, the studio announced that it had begun development on a new "Stalker 2," but few details have emerged since then. Finally, however, the first screenshots of Stalker 2 have been released. The full screen version is below.

Damp weather, a rusty abandoned car, and a mutation of sorts. We are definitely looking at a stalker game. There is not much other information in the screenshots, but maybe the detective will find some hidden details.

GSC has previously stated that they are "using all the best ideas we have" and that the game is completely different from the one that was put in storage in 2012. We also know that it uses the Unreal Engine, not a proprietary engine like the original game.

We can also expect modding support, with GSC Game World stating in January that "user modding has helped keep the Zone world alive while we are busy working on the sequel, and we couldn't be more grateful."

Modding "Stalker 2" is " will be "easy and accessible," he stated.

In a Facebook post accompanying the first screenshot, GSC recalls the first game, Shadow of Chernobyl, which was released 13 years ago last Friday, March 20, adding that the second chapter in the series "will be our most ambitious game yet."

No release date has been announced yet, but one screenshot has been released, so it will probably stay in the oven for a while.
