PUBG celebrates its third birthday today, and PUBG Corp. vaguely outlined its plans for the year ahead in a new blog post. The game's next big update, 6.2, is still on test servers and includes a reworked Vikendi map and team deathmatch, but more "map rework, new maps, new weapons, new mechanics" are on the way.

Meanwhile, to celebrate this milestone for the game, a set of free skins are being offered. These were designed by members of the PUBG community as part of a competition and include skins for the Parker, M416, and Parachute. They are available now, but must be obtained by April 23 or you will miss out on this opportunity.

As for the Vikendi map update, it is not ready yet." We are pouring in your data and feedback from testing to refine it before the train leaves the station. We want to bring you a whole new experience with fun and exciting new mechanics with each new or reworked map, so we sincerely thank the community for testing and sending us feedback."
