General
You can buy a Twitch streamer a drink in Borderlands 3.

"Borderlands 3" may be one of the first major games designed with Twitch integration front and center. Developed in parallel with the game, the ECHOcast extension allows Twitch streamers and their viewers to mutually benefit from playing and watching games on the stream. Viewers will be able to interact directly with some aspects of the streamer's game and potentially gain benefits that can be used when playing "Borderlands 3". It has now been announced that a new ECHOcast update, coming March 26, will add a new way for viewers to collaborate in-game with their favorite Borderlands 3 streamers

: a Moxxtails event, already on Twitch, viewers can leave monetary tips for streamers in the form of Twitch Bits, but "Borderlands 3" is experimenting with a new concept where viewer donations can be used to help buff in-game.

The update announcement details this plan, but in a nutshell, instead of Twitch Bits, players can donate Bits of Sugar, enough to start a Moxxtails event. Sugar is donated, the legendary bartender Moxxi himself will appear and poll the audience. The results will determine the ingredients for the Moxxtail (while the strength will be determined by the number of Bits of Sugar in her tip jar). The resulting concoction has the potential to buff the lucky streamer's character far beyond the limits normally attainable in the game.

The ECHOcast expansion update introducing the Moxxtails event for Borderlands 3 will be released tomorrow, March 26.
