The Behemoth has made their (excellent) back catalog available for free play on Steam for the next week, with three titles - Castle Crashers, Pit People, and Battleblock Theater - playable through April 1, If you find a title you like, you can get a substantial discount.

Castle Crashers and Battleblock Theater are both discounted 80%, while Pit People, a newer turn-based tactics game, is discounted 40%. All are great, but I have a special fondness for Battleblock Theater. It is a brilliant puzzle platformer with very intuitive level creation capabilities. In other news from The Behemoth, the recently announced "Alien Hominid Invasion" livestream took place earlier today with lots of gameplay footage. The game does not yet have a release date or window, but does have a Steam page.
