Art for "Modern Warfare 2 Remastered" Unearthed by Dataminer

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is almost certainly on its way, but Activision has yet to announce anything official. However, ratings in Korea and Europe have not yet stopped, and Datamania claims to have found some art after digging through the files of the latest update to Modern Warfare.

MrEarthboundFan on Reddit posted an image of a classic Modern Warfare 2 soldier walking through flames, labeled "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. Both ratings specify the campaign, and so far nothing has been revealed about the multiplayer.

This has led some to speculate that there will be no multiplayer. This is odd for a "Call of Duty" game, although it may be that they don't want to detract from last year's "Modern Warfare" remake or the new "Warzone" standalone.

MrEarthboundFan also posted more datamined assets, including a hint that there may be a bundle that includes a Modern Warfare 2 skin that can be used in the new Modern Warfare. In support of this, Senescallo (cheers, Charlie Intel) reveals further details revealed in the latest update, including bonuses.

Purchasing Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered will apparently get you the Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle: 10,000 CP for purchasing Oil Rig, Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, and UDT Ghost skins for Modern Warfare.

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered has been a long time coming, as it was initially rumored to be released in 2018, but these new leaks seem to suggest that an announcement is not far off.
