You can play "Mount & Blade 2: Banner Road" as a bloodthirsty baby.

When starting a new character in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, there are many choices to make. What culture are you from? What is your family's occupation? What do they look like? Are you actually a baby?

Yes, you are indeed a baby; RPS reports that you can play Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord as a baby by pressing the R key during character creation. When you create your character, all the same choices regarding puberty are made, but when you start the actual game, you will be there as a glorious little baby.

As a baby named Lord Cranky Naptime, I had to skip part of the tutorial. But once in the world, the game played out exactly the same, except I was a very tiny baby.

And I was a very bloodthirsty baby.

Unlike the tutorial trainer, no one in the real world seemed to have much trouble hitting me with a sword. But this is a very sturdy baby! A little booing is not going to make you a combatant.

On the overworld map, oddly enough, it looks like a giant baby sitting astride a horse. Yet, from time to time, we are reminded of how small we are. For example, when I am crossing a battlefield on my stocky little legs, or when I am designing a flag.

Peekaboo, I see you!

But there is some bad news. Time flies, and you'll be an adult in no time. Shortly after Baby Lord Cranky Naptime won the Combat Tournament and profited from selling a few sheep, I was dismayed to see him become a regular old boring adult with a deeply unfortunate name.

Behold the adult Sir Cranky Napping. He wears the same clothes and has the same hair for some reason, but he needs to lose that goatee. He may not be a baby anymore, but I always thought so.

Thanks, RPS!
