Did you miss out on the "Animal Crossing" mania that has been sweeping the Internet since March 20? Maybe you don't have a Nintendo DS or you prefer a different genre of game like survival horror, but if you have a PC and the Resident Evil 3 remake, thanks to a mod that gives Jill Valentine Isabelle's mask, you too can be an Animal Forest fan, you can be one of them.

Resident Evil 3 doesn't launch until this Friday (April 3), but even so, eager mod makers are getting in early, and PC players will be able to experience Jill in the bright yellow head of an animated Shih Tzu without ever experiencing RE3 for a day.

Creator Crazy Potato gives the mod a one-sentence description that sums up their decision to bring Isabelle, the unofficial mascot of Animal Crossing, into the "Resident Evil" world. While this may not seem like official Capcom lore, there is no doubt that Jill Valentine would be a lovely sight to see relaxing in "Animal Crossing."

The Resident Evil 2 remake spawned a ton of ridiculous mods. Most of them replaced Mr. X's character model, either making him less intimidating or more intimidating, or a combination of both. Popular ones have transformed Tyrant into the surprisingly sinister "Thomas the Tank Engine," the iconic horror movie villain "Pennywise the Clown," or the most terrifying, i.e., Mr. X but dressed in revealing beachwear and wearing a thong.
