Update: Sorry folks, FDG Entertainment has confirmed that "Quackshots" is an April Fool's joke. The reason this looks legit is because the material was part of an actual game pitch, but FDG was unable to get a license from Disney. So instead, this is what happened.

FDG Entertainment, the developer and publisher of Game Atelier and Monster Boy, is apparently currently working on a new "DuckTales" game. "DuckTales Quackshots" features Donald and his nephews flying around the world It features Donald and his nephews flying around the world, exploring ruins, and becoming platformers, but given the date, it may not be a good idea to take this at face value.

April 1 is the worst day for news writers, and generally so. That said, this would be a really weird gag - no joke, just a pleasant surprise. I'm leaning toward legit.

QuackShot Starring Donald Duck is a 1991 Mega Drive platformer, and it is not at all clear whether DuckTales QuackShots is a sequel or a remake. The lack of the extra "s" and "remaster" labels suggest the former, but the screenshots definitely try to be reminiscent of the original. It looks great, too! Please start below.
