"Sea of Thieves" has been a Windows Store exclusive since its launch in early 2018, but that is about to change. Rare made this announcement today, and while no release date has been set, a store page is already available.

Additionally, full cross-play between Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam is supported, so there will be no problem playing with those who purchased the game on the Windows Store. [Sea of Thieves was good there when it first came out, but it's even better now. Last year it won the award for Best Ongoing Game, and Fraser wrote, "After countless updates, it finally lives up to the imaginary pirate game I envisioned in my head when it was first released."

The game received its latest update last month in the form of Hearts of Fire, but the most important feature of the game, at least to me, is that pets can puke. It's the little details that make modern games great.
