Do you like digging caves, mining, singing songs, and bringing death to your dwarven enemies? If so, there's a free game for you: Regions of Ruin is free on Steam until April 7, along with the DLC Sieges. Developer Vox Games has only a limited number of copies available, but they will be gone soon; the game has been quite well received by fans of the side-scrolling craft-and-build RPG genre since its release in 2018.

The real fun of Regions of Ruin is building up the town and traveling through the side-scrolling open world. Its open world and story are not randomly generated like many games in the genre, but are actually hand-crafted. As you travel, you recruit new dwarves, send them to a central settlement, and eventually turn that settlement into a vast dwarven fortress. If, like many of us, you've been cooped up in your house for a while now, it's a good time-waster, and if you like Terraria or Starbound, you should definitely check it out.
