Some of the items in Stardew Valley can be a bit boring. They just sit there, and when you pick them up, you don't brag about finding them. You wouldn't even show it off in your house. But thanks to a series of Animated Stuff mods from intrepid modder Gervig91, that's no longer the case. First, there are animated slime eggs and loot for glowing solar essences and spinning void bits. There are also "furniture and object animations" to bring boring things in the house to life. Finally, food and drink animations make every item in the game sultry and fun. How can one resist these delights?

For those who like to decorate around their Stardew homes, it's a simple change that really brightens up the room. Any animations you don't like can easily be disabled. It is not too difficult to install SMAPI, Content Patcher, and Content Patcher Animations, although you will need to install a few other mods to be able to use animations. At least compared to the effort that went into this:
