A new update to the hardcore co-op horror shooter "GTFO" (for lack of a better term) was released this week, adding a cool as hell new mission series called "Rundown 002 / Infection". When we last checked out the hardcore co-op horror shooter GTFO, we wrote that it "doesn't feel like an Early Access game," and that hasn't changed with Rundown 002. In fact, it's truer than ever before. Truth, as they say. Indie developer 10 Chambers Collective has a bright future ahead of them if they keep it up. Let me show you just a little bit of what that looks like:
As you can see, the game is still chock full of blobby humanoid horror, in fact, the kind of extra-terrifying, extra-blobby horror that I try very hard not to think about when I'm trying to sleep, is newly Enter GTFO, a very intense four-player shooter where sometimes the best answer is to not shoot. The difficulty level is also very high; as one user on the Steam forums put it, "It's absolutely ♥♥♥ hell. Lovely! The Infection update adds an "excavation site" environment, a new machine pistol, a new burst rifle, and a new set of targets. I also like the new goop and blood splatter on the visor. Almost every weapon has been adjusted or buffed, including machine guns, shotguns, revolvers, and mines. All but the combat shotgun are blessed and perfect.
If you want to check out the hardcore co-op horror shooter "GTFO" (awesome), you can do so on Steam. Let's bring you another parade of horror from this update.
