The definitive versions of "Mafia 2" and "Mafia 3" are now on the Korean and Taiwanese ratings boards.

South Korea's Game Rating Management Board and Taiwan's Digital Game Rating Board have given ratings to "Mafia 2: Definitive Edition" and "Mafia 3: Definitive Edition," suggesting that remastered versions of the open-world gangster series may be released on PC and consoles.

With the news that Take-Two Interactive has applied to trademark the series, the possibility of remastered versions of "Mafia 2" and "Mafia 3" becoming available is becoming increasingly likely.

In "Mafia 2," you play as Vito Scaletta, a retired military veteran who became involved with the Mafia in an attempt to pay off his father's debts. Vito becomes involved in organized crime and becomes a formidable gangster. Mafia 3 takes place in New Bordeaux in 1968. You play Lincoln Clay, who seeks revenge on the mobsters who killed his surrogate family members, all of them.

There is no information on when these remasters will be released.

Thanks, Gematsu.
