Capcom wants to know if you want a "Resident Evil" remake

Resident Evil is still going strong. With two remakes released in the past few years and an asymetrical multiplayer mode called "Resistance," Capcom seems quite intent on continuing to make games in this series. Recent rumors suggest that "Resident Evil 8" could be released next year, but that doesn't mean there won't be further remakes.

In a new survey of users in Asian countries, Capcom asks this question: "If a new remake title of the "Resident Evil" series were released, would you be interested in purchasing it?" Users are asked to select the appropriate answer from a list of five responses, ranging from enthusiastic to "I wish they would stop." There are also hints that Capcom is testing whether users are prepared to buy a next-generation console to play the new remake.

That's it: whether the company will opt for a remake of "Resident Evil 4" or "Code: Veronica" or neither: It remains to be seen whether the company will opt for a remake of "Resident Evil 4" or "Code: Veronica" or neither, but the possibility of that has been ruled out. But many will be glad to hear that it has not been ruled out. In any case, Wes wrote last week that Capcom should never remake "Resident Evil 4. And I don't disagree with Wes.

However, Resident Evil 8, if the leaks are true, looks very interesting. Like its predecessor, it will feature a first-person perspective, which, according to the leaker, is destined to annoy series purists, which is always good sport.

Andy reviewed "Resident Evil 3 Remake" last week and found it a bit lacking. He wrote, "Both Nemesis and Raccoon City are underwhelmingly underused in this disappointing step forward for the series."
