Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on September 17, but that won't stop the hype train.

Prizes are also on offer, with the winner receiving an Alienware Aurora PC and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition card, which currently sells for over $4,000 on eBay. Second through fifth place finishers in the competition will receive an Alienware Area-51m laptop.

Announced in the tweet above using the hashtag #CyberUpYourPC, this competition is shaping up to be an interesting entry, but there is more to this competition than that. The big shocker is the fact that the creators of the top five designs will be working with real modders to make their designs a reality.

The competition page can be found here, where you can download the asset packs. It includes important information that the design must be based on the Alienware Aurora R9 case. Yes, your creativity may be curtailed a bit.

These may seem a bit constraining to your design, but they may be better than a blank canvas for your creativity. Also, the latest Alienware Auroras are interesting machines, at least in their own right.

Entries must be submitted by May 17, 2020, and the winner will be announced on May 29, 2020.
