Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor experiences slight delays as development team adjusts to remote work

The next expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online will be released "about a week" after its scheduled May 18 release, ZeniMax Online Studios announced today. The studio is adapting to remote work in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite this small delay, the Greymoor expansion, including update 26, will hit the game's public test servers on April 20. One element is missing, however: French voice actors. Due to French labor regulations, actors cannot provide dialogue, so French-speaking players must rely on text and subtitles.

"Video games like ESO are a great distraction from everyday life, which isn't always great. There have been some really fun ESO events this month, including the ongoing Anniversary Jubilee."

It will be worth the wait; Lauren played the expansion last month and wrote that "the next chapter of ESO is as much in the spirit of Skyrim as its architecture."
