Bananas are the best. A recent Twitter poll in the Tropical Fruit Showdown has brought the happy news that bananas are coming to Stardew Valley. Eric Baron confirmed today that bananas are the winner, and if the image above is any indication, it won't be long before bananas are added to the game.

But just be quiet: mango should have won. I don't know why bananas took first place over mangoes, passion fruit, and avocados. Congratulations to those who voted for mango.

The results of the poll are truly stunningly wrong. 30.6% voted for bananas, 29.3% for mangoes, 26.5% for avocados, and 13.6% for passion fruit. If the poll results better reflect the quality of these four fruits, then mangoes would have 85%, passion fruit 10%, and bananas and avocados would compete for the remainder of the pennies earned.

Regardless, it's a great time to be a Stardew Valley lover. They say there are secrets in the game that have yet to be discovered, and now there's even a Stardew Valley ASMR.
