Farming Game Meets Rogue-Like Shooting Atomicrops Release Date Announced

Who would be interested in a game that combines a post-apocalyptic punk aesthetic, roguelike shooting mechanics, and classic farm sim gameplay into one? I don't know if anyone besides me is keeping an eye on Atomicrops' development, but here goes: it will be released in full on May 28. and is being published by Raw Fury, a company with impeccable taste as a publisher. We first called it "a wicked combination of Stardew Valley and Nuclear Throne," and a year later, we still have a point. For more information, see the announcement trailer for Exhibit A:

Atomicrops is a round-based rogue light shooter that requires reflexes and planning to survive. Each day is a round, in which you defeat enemies, find seeds, plant them, water them, and harvest them by the end of the day to earn money. Each day also concludes with a wave survival, where more giant bad guys come to take your blood and crops. I'm really enjoying this game because it's really fun to fight off waves of giant slugs and gun-toting mutant rabbits. Also, I am very bad at this game, so if anyone knows what happens over the summer, please don't spoil it for me. The game is available for early access starting in September 2019.

You can get Atomicrops on the Epic Games store for $15, 10% off, until April 23.
