Gears Tactics Among Seven New Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC

When Gears Tactics is released on April 28, it will go straight to Xbox Game Pass for PC, but that's not the only new title joining the service. Microsoft has announced that seven titles will be joining Xbox Game Pass "in the near future," including some gems.

The most gem is Gato Roboto, a retro-style Metroidvania starring a cat-controlling mecha. It's one of the best recent indie platformers I've played.

Another standout is "Levelhead," a platformer creation toolkit that's as intuitive as "Mario Maker" but somewhat more flexible; it has "very positive" reviews on Steam, with "very positive" reviews for "Mario Maker," "Mario Maker," "Mario Maker," and "Mario Maker.

Others include Deliver Us The Moon, HyperDot, Machinarium, and The Long Dark. The latter is excellent, and Andy describes it in his review as "deep, brutal, and hauntingly atmospheric."

There are also several games that are being discontinued. Each is currently discounted by 20% when purchased. These include The Banner Saga 2, Bomber Crew, Full Metal Furies, Ruiner, Silence: The Whispered World 2, and Smoke and Sacrifice.
