Lian Li has updated its four-year-old electric standing desk. The larger DK-05F (pictured above) can hold two liquid-cooled PCs and costs $2,000, while the smaller DK-04F can hold one PC and costs $1,499.99.
Both are available for pre-order on Newegg and will be available on April 28. Neither is cheap, but without pesky things like rent and food, I'd throw my all into something like this.
Compared to the original DK-04 released in 2016, these new models offer more control over the fans and RGB lighting. They also feature an 8mm tempered glass top that can be turned from transparent to opaque (well, foggy) at the push of a button.
While the DK-05F/DK-04F can hide secret documents, I would just hit the switch to hide cluttered cable management.
The desk is made of "high-grade aluminum" and is height adjustable from 69 cm (~27") to 117 cm (~46"). Unless you're Shaquille O'Neal, that is.
These desks appear to have plenty of elbow room. Both support up to E-ATX motherboards (up to two in the case of the DK-05F) and have removable motherboard trays to make building a little easier. They can also accommodate graphics cards up to 400 mm (~15.7") in length and CPU coolers up to 185 mm (~7.28") in height. [DK-04F can accommodate up to nine 3.5" HDDs or six 3.5" HDDs and three 2.5" SSDs, while DK-05F has eight 3.5"/2.5" drive bays.
As with the original model, there are four customizable presets to save specific height adjustments. Otherwise, they are controlled by the up and down arrows.
These desks can be purchased at Newegg or found at OverclockersUK.
