Total War: Warhammer 2 is free for the weekend on Steam, and you can spend a few days conquering the world as a bloodthirsty pack of rats, lizards and elves.

I'm obsessed with Total War: Three Kingdoms, but Warhammer 2 is the Total War I've spent the most time with and one of my favorite Henry Cavill games. If Superman and Geralt give it a thumbs up, it must be a good game.

If you already own the original Warhammer, you can also download the Mortal Empires campaign. This is a ridiculously huge combination of maps from both games, mashed together (with some cuts) to make the biggest campaign in the series.

Every army you own is playable in Mortal Empires, so you can pit armies from the first game, like the Empire, against new ones, like the pesky Dark Elves. Be aware, however, that the wait time between turns can be a bit long to get used to. Thankfully, Creative Assembly has recently made some major improvements that have sped things up considerably.
