We live in a crazy world where toilet paper is the hottest product in the supermarket and a set of four wheels for a Mac Pro costs $699. I don't know which is more ridiculous.

Surely the sales pitch for the wheelset must be as exaggerated as the price? No, it's not.

"Make your Mac Pro wheeled with the Mac Pro Wheel Kit. Custom-designed stainless steel and rubber wheels make it easy to slide the Mac Pro out from under your desk or move it around your studio," Apple says.

Apple's latest generation, Cheesegrater Mac Pro system comes with a set of feet. Users have the option to upgrade to wheels for $399 at the time of purchase. Similarly, those who upgrade to wheels and want feet instead can purchase the pack from Apple for $299.

Users who choose not to upgrade to wheels will face an even more expensive proposition. At least Apple includes 1/4" to 4mm hex bits, but as the listing states, "additional tools are required.

You can also build or buy a complete gaming PC for about the same price. This week's cheap gaming PC deals include a Dell G5 desktop with a Core i5-9400 processor and GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU for $769.99; a setup with a Core i3-9100 CPU and GTX 1660 Super GPU is available in even cheaper configurations, such as $679.99. However, neither configuration comes with wheels.
