Try the "Elder Scrolls Online" DLC for free all week!

The Elder Scrolls Online has reduced the price of its subscription to allow players to try out ESO Plus membership, which includes access to all DLC game packs, for one week through April 27.

The MMO can be played without a subscription, but that would mean purchasing a lot of DLC; the ESO Plus membership saves you crowns and gives you access to a whopping 16 game packs, including last month's Harrowstorm DLC.

Other perks include crafting bags that magically give you unlimited storage space for all your crafting supplies, double the bank space, and buffs on XP and gold gains. However, the store does not offer monthly stipends or ESO Plus deals.

The Elder Scrolls Online does not require a subscription, but it is still buy-to-play.

If you already have an MMO in your library, it's a pretty good deal, but if you're starting a new character, quite a lot of the game pack's content won't be immediately accessible.

The highlight for me is the Morrowind expansion. It's a bit different from playing Morrowind in the modern era - after all, this is still an MMO: ...... but as close as we are likely to get. The game will soon return to Skyrim via the Greymoor expansion, but that will have to wait until June.

A free trial of ESO Plus is available now.
