The Division 2 demo, up to 8 hours of free play

Ubisoft has offered several free trial versions over the weekend since "The Division 2" was released in 2019, and now the company is offering a permanent trial version that allows up to eight hours of unlimited play for those interested but not yet convinced.

Trial players will be able to raise their characters to level 8, and any progress earned during the trial version will carry over to the full game if they choose to purchase it. Clans and in-game purchases are not available in the trial version, but players should concentrate on shooting and looting.

The demo version of Division 2 is available on the Epic Games Store and Uplay, but is currently unavailable on Stadia.Users who play the demo version of Rainbow Six Siege (or the full game) will receive a "Division Agent" uniform and headgear, a "Division Watch" charm, and a "Division 2" set for Grom operator Ela, including a "Division gun" skin for the Scorpion EVO 3 A1. For Geezer, even if you're not that interested in the game, it's worth playing it at least once.

"Rainbow Six Siege" players who already own "The Division 2" will also receive "The Impromptu" weapon skin for use in "The Division 2."

Also yesterday, "The Division 2" title update 9 was released, adding the third "Manhunt" target of Season 1 to "Warlords of New York" and various bug fixes and gameplay changes. The full patch notes can be found on the Ubisoft forums.
