After giving away two free games a week for most of the year, Epic went back to giving away one game at a time with "For the King," which would be free the next week.

My expectations were getting lower and lower as Epic just kept giving away free games. It was ridiculous, but I had been spoiled.

The good news is that this week's and next week's games will be strong additions to our library: For the King, a turn-based strategy RPG with online co-op, is pretty good and worth encouraging your friends to pick up and join you on one of your tabletop-style adventures. It's worth having them join you on one of your tabletop-style adventures.

Next week things get a little spooky with "Amnesia: The Dark Descent." If you're a horror buff (I seem to have a few of those myself, if you notice) or if you've been putting them to sleep for whatever reason, now is a great time to pick up the sequel, "Amnesia: The Dark Descent," since it's coming out this year. Rebirth" will be released this year.

For the King is free until April 30, but will replace Amnesia until May 7.
