Attractive middle tower case from EVGA on sale for $87

The less you spend on a PC case, the more you can devote to components that directly affect your gaming, such as the GPU and CPU. At the same time, cutting too many corners can result in a case that is difficult to integrate or, even worse, one with poor airflow; EVGA's DG-76 does not suffer from such drawbacks at this price.

Newegg has it down to $79.99 right now, plus $6.99 shipping. The MSRP for this case is $149.99, and the next lowest price outside of Newegg is $119.99 on Amazon. In other words, the Newegg discount effectively saves you about $33.

I built a PC with a DG-77, which is similar to the DG-76 offered here; the main difference, as EVGA states on Twitter, is that the DG-76 lacks the vertical GPU upgrade kit and "K-Boost" overclock button. It also has three fans instead of four.

Building the internals of the DG-76 is easy enough. My only complaint is that mounting the fans on top of the case is a bit trickier than on some enclosures. But as with most things, a little patience and attention to detail goes a long way.

The "Alpine White" DG-76 is a good choice for building a white-themed PC. The unmistakable "DG-76" branding is actually a sticker that does not need to be placed on the side of the case.

Other features include built-in tempered side glass windows, RGB lighting with an integrated controller, and a removable air filter.
