Excited for Travis Scott's Fortnite event? Well, for some, it's already happening. A record number of players "tuned in" to hip-hop star Travis Scott's live in-game "Astronomical" show. It was literally massive. [Grammy-nominated rapper and producer Travis Scott is going on a mini tour with Fortnite; from April 23-25, Scott will perform five in-game shows for players around the world, premiering a new song called "Astronomical."

Travis Scott's concert comes exactly one year after Marshmello's live show, which reportedly drew more than 10 million viewers in-game and millions more online. Scott's concert could draw even larger numbers: the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in stay-at-home orders around the world, which means that there are a great many gamers with leisure time on their hands.

But the concert is only the beginning. There are Fortnite Travis Scott skins for sale in the item store, as well as emotes and other in-game items. And once those are in your back pocket, there are special challenges to celebrate the event that you can complete right now, including a quest to bounce various Fortnite astroheads.
