Today I learned that there are people being paid to create Minecraft worlds for private clients. One such team is Varuna, which is responsible for cities like the one shown here.

To me it looks a bit like the Imperial City in "Oblivion," but it is actually the labyrinthine city of Orario from the anime/manga/light novel series "Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in the Dungeon? Every building has an interior, and the central tower-shaped dungeon has reached the upper limit of verticality in Minecraft.

It apparently took the Varuna team more than two months and roughly 12 hours of labor to create. Of course, being a private production, I can't download it and see it myself, so I have to be content with the screenshots on the website.
