Blizzard had to change its plans for Bring Your Child to Work Day because all of its employees work from home in isolation. Last Thursday, instead of having activities on Blizzard's campus, the company decided to host several virtual events for its employees' children and share some of them online. Very cute.

"All Blizzard employees, including artists, game designers, engineers, and human resources personnel, gave lessons, lectures, and tutorials aimed at providing children with the insights and skills to build a brighter future," a news article on Blizzard's website

The first introduction was made in a news article posted on Blizzard's website.

First up are three art tutorials by Senior Art Director Samwise Didier. There are three tutorials on dwarves, orcs, and pandarens, and in each tutorial Didier explains the process of doodling these characters.

Of course, the drawings are not that complicated. After all, they are meant for kids to go through together, but it is cool to see Didier doodling playfully compared to the amazing art for which he is famous.

Chris Metzen, now retired but a well-known Blizzard alumnus, also helped with Bring Your Kids to Work Day by reading an adorable children's book titled Snow Fight: A Kid's Version of Thrall, Varian, and Ursus Bully! It's about learning how to stop and play fair. Again, very cute and wholesome.
