One year after delisting, "Lego: Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" are back on Steam

It has been exactly one year since "Lego: The Lord of the Rings" and "Lego: The Hobbit" disappeared from Steam. At the time, the reason wasn't given, probably licensing issues, and Warner Bros.' official answer was rather unspecific. But as Kotaku discovered, it was time to put away the handkerchief.

The re-release of both games has not been officially announced or mentioned by the publisher, but if you've been dying to get your hands on them, now would be a great time. All the related DLC has also been restored.

For what it's worth, when we reviewed Lego: Lord of the Rings in 2012, we did pretty well. Ben Griffin wrote, "Traveler's Tales sticks to its own formula, but fortunately the original is so iconic and the homage so thorough that it hardly matters."

Hopefully, this will not be a repeat of "Deadpool," which disappeared and returned from Steam and then disappeared again.
