Why didn't "The Witcher 3" depict Gerard's 100 year old cock?

The Witcher is pretty sexy. Books, games, and now TV shows love to show a little skin, and here at PC Gamer, we can't get enough of Geralt soaking in the bathtub. However, CD Projekt Red never let us see "little Geralt". The answer, apparently, is regional restrictions. [This is especially true in countries with strict restrictions, such as Australia, which did not have an 18+ rating until 2013, and Germany, which until recently imposed massive restrictions on media dealing with World War II or featuring Nazis.

According to GameStar, in the case of The Witcher 3, the nudity of the playable characters Geralt and Siri was particularly problematic. Although the two were seen taking off their clothes in several scenes, they were never fully nude.

Quest designer Philip Weber told a German website that there were various restrictions in all countries where "The Witcher 3" was published; you can see them chatting on the Twitch stream, but you have to understand German.

Fabian Mario Doehla of CDPR confirmed this, adding that "the moment you have (active) control, it is always rated differently." My German is not exact, so this is via Google Translate.

The German rating board USK gives special weight to nudity if the playable character is wielding a cock; CDPR's Carolin Wendt said that USK's concern that playing naked characters may affect the psychological development of young people concerns, stating that "there is a greater risk of impairment."

USK confirmed this, telling GameStar that nudity itself is not considered a problem and is not damaging to youth.

So if we want to see Geralt's 100-year-old willy, we can only hope that CD Projekt Red will make him an NPC in another game. I have a dream.

Cheers, PCGamesN.
