Twitch has updated its community guidelines to put a stop to streamers abusing the "Drops Program," which distributes access to Valorant's closed beta to viewers. It was discovered that some streamers were continuously streaming VOD as live to attract viewers.

Currently, all Valorant streams include these drops, which is currently the only way most people get access to the beta. Therefore, it is not surprising that some streamers have begun to use dishonest methods to gain an advantage over their competitors.

Game director Joe Ziegler commented on the policy change, calling Twitch a "great ally" in helping Riot during the beta.
