Ubisoft released a cinematic trailer for Assassin's Creed Valhalla earlier today. For that, you'll have to wait until next week, specifically the Inside Xbox live stream on May 7.
The show, which promises the first look at "next-generation gameplay" on the Xbox Series X, is definitely worth paying attention to in its own right, as it is very likely to showcase new information, or at least a new trailer, for the game that will also be available on PC. But shortly after Microsoft's announcement, Ubisoft let us in on it. [Assassin's Creed Valhalla] is set in 9th century England, where a Viking army led by Eibol has established an outpost to build a new life. They do not get along well with the Saxons in the area, and naturally, conflict erupts. Brutal combat is central to the experience, but like its predecessor "Assassin's Creed Odyssey," "Valhalla" will feature "advanced RPG mechanics" and base management will also play an important role. A release date has not yet been set, but the game will be available on the Epic Games Store and Uplay during the 2020 holiday season.
