Dragon Quest 11 and Final Fantasy 12 at Half Price in Square Enix's Charity Collection

Want to play hundreds of hours of JRPGs right away at a reasonable price? [Square Enix has launched a limited-time Stay Home & Play bundle on Steam. This bundle includes Dragon Quest 11: The Search for a Time Gone By, Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age, Oni no Kai, and Chrono Trigger. Square Enix will donate all proceeds from the bundle to "food banks and other charities in North America and Europe."

Dragon Quest 11 is the latest in that series and one of the first to get a really good PC port. The game is quite highly regarded and has a brilliant turn-based battle system with depth if you want depth and simplicity if you don't. We described the game as "a JRPG for those who haven't played a JRPG in a while. "FF12: The Zodiac Age is a remastered version of this game, which was also quite well received, scoring an 85 in our review. (Denuvo also recently removed it.) "Chrono Trigger" is, well, the classic JRPG "Chrono Trigger" that critics loved. Everyone loves it.

Demons... Not quite as great, but it's an action RPG, and some people like it despite its flaws. While you probably won't touch Oni-Nihon, this bundle is worth it, in my opinion, and Steam has these games at as big a discount as they've ever been. Square Enix's Stay Home & Play JRPG Collection is available on Steam.
