New Story DLC for Mortal Kombat 11

According to a tweet from PlayStation Brazil, Mortal Kombat 11 is getting single-player story DLC, and while MK11 is getting plenty of typical beat 'em up updates, including new characters, those who want to test their skills offline For those who want to test their skills offline, it's especially nice to see more gory melodrama.

Single-player storylines are one of NetherRealm's specialties in fighting games. The campaign is intentionally pretty silly, but it is very interesting and gives you the chance to control all the registered characters and fight a few rounds with them.

"Mortal Kombat 11" is one of the studio's best campaigns, but if you like a punchy tour of the DC universe, "Injustice" is not to be missed. It's worth playing just to see all the superlatives.

As for the teaser trailer itself, MK stars Liu Kang and Raiden are left scratching their heads at the appearance of the mysterious trio. Fans have speculated that the new storyline may have something to do with 2005's Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, and since MK11 has a lot of time travel, that may be a possibility. We will know more tomorrow.
