"Sekiro" is From Software's most prescribed game. You'll be taking on all the bosses with only a sword, prosthetic hands, and a large number of clay pots. If you like From Software games for their challenge, "Sekiro" is probably your cup of tea, but if, like me, you like a slow simmer of world-building and exploration, you may find it frustrating. But if you like slow simmering world-building and exploration like I do, it can be frustrating; "Sekiro Online" is a pretty decent rendition of "Dark Souls" multiplayer, with co-op, duels, and invasions all included.

Put together in a few months by modder LukeYui, Sekiro Online even uses obscure items to initiate the multiplayer features. Multiplayer has area restrictions and you have to start a new session each time you change areas, but you can easily invite friends through Steam's friend list just like any other multiplayer game.

Of course, both players must have the mod installed; you can get the mod here. Installation is easy if you know how to drag files from one folder to another.

However, don't expect seamless, lag-free play. This is an unofficial multiplayer mod that was created in a few months and an early public beta has just been released. Expect a more or less bumpy ride, depending on the strength of you and your friends/enemies internet connection. All multiplayer is P2P.
