Action
This banner load mod basically adds a cell phone to the game.

In "Mount & Blade 2: Banner Road," important characters can be difficult to track down. One must check the Encyclopedia for their last known whereabouts, then go to the town or city where they were last seen and check for updates to see if they have moved to another location. It can take some time to make contact.

Who needs the old-fashioned analog hassle of finding someone and talking to them directly, when with the Telepathy Mod you can use Bannerlord's encyclopedia as your contact list and call any character in the game with the push of a button. In seconds, you'll connect with the person you're calling, no matter where in the world they are; more reliable than AT&T. Carradia, welcome to the age of the cell phone.

You can see it in action above. I run around, open the encyclopedia, find a listing for Laga'air, the leader of the Southern Empire, and click the "call me" button on the mod. Then I resume riding until she answers my call.

Then, just as if we were face-to-face, we can conduct diplomacy, pursue quests, and chat about whatever we like. I also call a young child who is being held captive in a castle controlled by the enemy. Hello, child! As soon as I'm done trading sheep and replenishing the soldiers I lost after getting my ass kicked by your captors, my dad will be on his way to free you.

One piece of advice. You actually picked up the medieval phone and answered your own phone.

"Yes? I don't think I know you," I said to myself, shaking my head back and forth trying to find myself in the air around me. To the soldiers it must have looked like I was talking to a tree.

"Peace to you, stranger." I looked around, trying to figure out who was talking to me. (Also, the game locked up and had to be restarted.)
