"Halo 2: Anniversary" (Master Chief Collection) will unlock on Tuesday, May 12, during off-peak hours "due to bandwidth concerns worldwide," according to 343 Industries community manager John Junyszek. This "Halo 2" remaster will run at up to 4k UHD resolution and over 60fps. It has customizable mouse and keyboard support, ultrawide support, and FOV customization. The remastered graphics can be toggled off, reminding players of what Halo 2 looked like when it was released in 2004. Multiplayer features a "completely updated progression system" and seven remastered maps in addition to the original 25 maps.

PC ports of Halo 3 and ODST are currently in development, and some work-in-progress screenshots have been released.
