"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" will add a story mission featuring the mythical hero Beowulf. He will be the subject of the "Legend of Beowulf" DLC mission, where players will "discover the cruel truth" behind the hero.

This is an interesting additional mission, which was accidentally leaked by Ubisoft's German store. Scrolling down the Assassin's Creed Valhalla store page on Ubisoft's German site, this mission is listed among the season pass contents. Other regions also list information about the season pass, but nothing about the Beowulf mission.

Beowulf is an Old English epic poem that describes the life of a brutal warrior and his battle with three ferocious monsters, including a fearsome dragon. It is unclear whether the story missions will follow the tale told in the poem, but the inclusion of Beowulf suggests that other characters from Scandinavian folklore may appear in the main game.

As for Valhalla, check out the recently released "gameplay" trailer, which unfortunately only shows a couple of seconds of actual gameplay.
