The change log for "Terraria: Journey's End" is ridiculously long.

Terraria has enjoyed nearly a decade of development since its release, but it is finally coming to an end with the release of the huge Journey's End update that Re-Logic says will make the game "complete." The update will be released tomorrow, but you can view the massive changelog ahead of it.

Even the forum post detailing the big new features - 1,000 new items, mythical beasts, new modes, weather effects, the ability to pet dogs, etc. - is overwhelming in size. You can download and start reading from the forum post.

Re-Logic did a complete review of everything from balance to graphics. That means 40 pages of plain text notes.

Some of the new features already exist in mod or experimental form. For example, the ability to swap blocks instead of breaking things first, or the ability to share world seeds, but it would still be a nice addition to the core game.

Speaking of mods, tModLoader will also be released as DLC with the update. This fan-made tool has provided Terraria players with mod support for years, but Re-Logic wants to make modding more "visible and accessible" by handing the keys over to modders and players. steam Workshop support is also planned.

Both the tModLoader DLC and Journey's End will be available on May 16.
