Fallout76 allies can wear your spare clothes.

General
Fallout76 allies can wear your spare clothes.

The "Fallout 76 Wastelanders" update added a number of other things, but basically "allies," which are limited versions of the companions from previous Fallout games. They open doors to new quest lines, offer daily quests, add new amenities to your base, and maybe even a little romance. They will not complain about the state of your dreary camp. One thing they haven't done, however, is dress themselves decently.

But thanks to Update 19 released today, that is no longer a problem. Update 19 adds ally customization options and allows players to share their wardrobe with their digital companions. Everything but power armor and weapons can be applied to allies with the new "customize" option. Since these are only cosmetic, they do not provide any bonuses or buffs and will revert to the default attire when an ally station is destroyed. If an allied station is destroyed, it reverts to the default attire.

The update also adds a limited-time "Treasure Hunter Hunt" event on May 21 to hunt mole miners and keep their wealth for yourself, and a "Fasnacht Parade" beginning May 25. In addition, the "Nuclear Winter," a limited-time challenge from May 19 to June 11, offers new cosmetic rewards, and backpacks (including small backpacks) can now be customized with skins.

Fallout 76 Update 19 also created a mountain of necessary bug fixes, which can be seen below. Note that this is not the update that gives the title a season pass, but rather update 20, which will be released later this summer.
