There have been action games set in the ocean before, but in Maneater, the goal is to become the apex predator of the sea, a shark that will go down in history. The latest trailer shows several ways to achieve this megalodon-class goal, through details of the gameplay system and entertaining commentary from the game's reality show-inspired narrator. The concept of manipulating sharks to eat people is simple, but it's amazing that the developers at Tripwire Interactive have added so much depth to the game. Through the various unveilings of gameplay over the past few months, it's clear that the game really strives to do justice to the "R" and "P" in shaRkPG. This trailer confirms that in addition to great gameplay, we have a great world to get lost in. Overall, Tripwire Interactive seems to pay attention to detail, and this trailer gives us one last glimpse of what is to come when we are able to pick up our "Maneater" fins this Friday.
