'Fortnite' to screen full Christopher Nolan film this summer

Following the premiere of Christopher Nolan's "Tenet" at Fortnite, Epic has announced that it aims to host all live events and will screen Nolan's feature film this summer.

Since Epic likes a little excitement, it has yet to reveal what film it actually is; Geoff Keighley teased the event after an interview with actor John David Washington, saying, "The iconic Christopher Nolan feature film," he said. He announced it again on Twitter, but gave no details.

So it's "iconic," apparently, but that's pretty subjective; Keighley is an enthusiastic guy, so maybe he thinks the whole thing is iconic. However, given that it is "Fortnite," it is more likely to be one of the more blockbuster types.

One of the Dark Knight trilogy seems like a pretty safe bet; Epic and DC have already collaborated several times, first for the 80th anniversary of Batman and more recently to promote the film Birds of Prey. Seeing Batman while dressed as Batman sounds kind of appealing.

Trying to sit through a single movie on an in-game screen while surrounded by jumping, emoting, pickaxe-wielding maniacs would once have seemed like a nightmare.
