A dabbling goblin named "Niblet" appears in Total War: Warhammer 2.

Henry Cavill aside, the latest DLC for Warhammer 2 has a real star: Niblet. Niblet is a goblin. He's not a goblin leader, he's a fat goblin, a grom the punch propagandist, a standard bearer, a charioteer. He is beloved by all sensible fans of Warhammer fantasy, so much so that the entire Games Workshop miniature paint line is named after him. (Niblett's feat, by the way, is that he survived being sat on by Grom the Punch.)

Now we know that Niblett is not only a ridiculous hype, but also stunts on stunts and dubs pointy-headed Elf Gitz. One Redditor spotted Niblett doing his signature mid-2010s dance on the character select screen. Behold:

Glorious.

Total War: Warhammer 2's latest DLC is called The Warden & The Paunch and features Grom the Paunch, a fat goblin and Warhammer's best character, and an elf that we think is pretty nice if you like elves. If you like elves, you'll find them pretty cool, and they both have their own new game mechanics. Our own Fraser Brown said of the pack, "Warhammer has been the source of some of Creative Assembly's most unusual faction designs." This is because Creative Assembly regularly releases new and interesting updates to the game, and the last patch completely overhauled the greenskin faction.

If you haven't played it yet and for whatever reason you've been spending a lot of time indoors lately, consider giving Total War: Warhammer 2 a try. It's one of the best games on PC right now and one of the best strategy games out there, and even if you're not interested in the DLC, the game has aged very well thanks to free updates.
