Warframe Deadlock Protocol will soon revamp the game's oldest content

Warframe is having a pretty good year full of new elements, and for a game that already has so much going on, it can feel a little overwhelming at times. But at any rate, it is one of the best free games on PC, so who can complain about the improvements and more things to do? Literally no one. Don't even consider it.

The next update for Warframe is The Deadlock Protocol, which will be released in the next two weeks (probably the week of June 5). The developer's latest update also provides information about Protea, a new flip and spin frame that will be released at the same time as The Deadlock Protocol.

The Deadlock Protocol will also revamp the environment of Warframe's oldest content, the corpus ship. The current look of the corpus ship dates back to 2012 and is the first environment tileset the game has had. This tileset will be used to generate random levels for Warframe. Game producer Dave Kudirka said on Playstation's blog, "We are excited to surprise and delight new and veteran players with a reimagined corpus tileset that will include new enemies, challenges, and world building."

Warframe recently received its most ambitious update to date, and it continues to do so despite the cancellation of the annual tournament; for more information on Warframe, please visit the official website or check out the developer's new update on Corpus Quest stream.
