Arkane, the "Dishonored" studio, teases plans for 20th anniversary

It's hard to believe that Arkane Studios has been around for 20 years, but the facts are the facts: it was founded in 1999, released its first game (the excellent "Arx Fatalis") in 2002, and until "Dishonored" made a big splash in 2012, it had, with all due respect It remained relatively unknown. The official anniversary is October 1 (at least according to Wikipedia), but at least part of the massive celebration plans will be announced tomorrow.

Unfortunately, nothing more has been said about what will appear. I'm hoping for a remaster of "Arks Phataris" or "Dark Messiah of Might and Magic" (or both, since we're wishing here), but more likely is what Jody described as "Groundhog Day of the Assassins" ( I think that's an apt description), we will probably get some information about the new Deathloop, which was announced at E3 2019.

A recently released documentary on Arkane's history not only delves deeply into the development of "Dishonored" and "Prey," but also the studio's long-canceled "Half-Life 2" spin-off that they were working on, " I also got a surprisingly up-close look at "Ravenholm".

Bold prognosticators like myself might dare to hope that Arkane's birthday party plans include a playable prototype of the long-lost venture, but Arkane being a Bethesda studio since 2010 if for no other reason than that it will not happen.

However, ...... Maybe?

No! It won't! However, we will let you know what is happening tomorrow when Arkane fills in the blanks.
