The Epic Games Store has been offering GTA 5 and Civilization 6 for free for the past few weeks. This week, it's Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. Now you can download it for free.

The Handsome Collection is a rather huge bundle that includes Borderlands 2, Borderlands Pre-Sequel, and Borderlands 6: Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, as well as DLC packs for both games. Looting and shooting galore.

Back in 2012, we gave "Borderlands 2" a high 90% rating, calling it a tactically interesting shooter with great missions and exciting random guns. On a related note, we realize now that "Borderlands 2" is already eight years old, so imagine that the time between here and the next paragraph is filled with long stretches of quiet trepidation about the passage of time.

"Borderlands The Pre-Sequel" was not so ambitious or interesting, earning a score of 77%. However, the low-gravity setting gives the combat encounters a nice new flavor.

The Handsome Collection's free availability confirms recent leaks. This means that if you get this bundle by June 4, Ark: Survival Evolved will almost certainly be free at that point.
